Gary L. Hanson International Reporting Fellowship

The Gary L. Hanson International Reporting Fellowship was established in honor of Gary Hanson, a former RTDNA chair and lifelong advocate for journalism and education. This fellowship celebrates Hanson’s dedication to international storytelling and global reporting. It supports journalists in exploring international journalism firsthand, including attendance at events like the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy or another global journalism event of the recipient’s choice.
