Lenfest Creator Collaborative Program

The Lenfest Institute’s Creator Collaborative Program offers funding for local news organizations to partner with independent creators and test strategies that strengthen audience growth, revenue, and community impact. Projects may focus on creator partnerships, audience funnels, participatory reporting, monetization, platform content, coverage expansion, or field-building. Grants support experimentation that reaches younger audiences, expands formats, and builds sustainable business outcomes.

Who Can Apply
Independent U.S.-based local news organizations. Creator partners may be included.

Funding
Up to $100,000 per project (total pool: $400,000); project term: 3–9 months.
