Cannon Charitable Interests

The Cannon Foundation funds capital and equipment projects for organizations across North Carolina.

Cannon Foundation grants are divided into four areas of focus: human services, higher education, healthcare and community. 

Journalism organizations may be eligible for a smaller number of community grants which are made for capital or equipment projects for organizations serving veterans, promoting the arts and providing historic or environmental preservation services in North Carolina.

It is recommended to begin the inquiry process at least 90 days before an application deadline (March, June, September or December)
