MJ Bear Fellowship

The MJ Bear fellowship provides professional mentoring and skills development for working journalists under 30 who are leading a digital journalism project. It also includes a scholarship to attend the Online News Association annual conference, this year in New Orleans from Sept. 10-13.

Fellows will work on a project related to digital journalism over the course of their fellowship, which runs for about six months. The fellowship provides registration to ONA’s annual conference, three tailored coaching sessions based on projects that fellows are working on and skills they are looking to build, and a three-year membership to ONA.
