SJN Local Media Project

The Local Media Project (LMP) is a five-year effort (launched in 2019) to establish solutions journalism-oriented collaboratives — groups of newsrooms and other civic institutions that together build trust in all segments of the communities they serve and stimulate public conversations about key issues. The LMP will support at least 15 collaboratives over the life of the initiative. Three collaboratives will join the LMP each year and will remain active members of the project for two years.
